CitySpring aims to position itself as a leading player in the growing infrastructure sector, by achieving significant growth through acquisitions. CitySpring’s principal objective is to invest in infrastructure assets and to provide unitholders with regular and predictable distributions as well as the potential for long-term capital growth. In addition to acquisitions, CitySpring also aims to achieve organic growth by actively identifying and implementing initiatives that improve the cashflow of our existing assets.

CitySpring’s focus on the infrastructure sector will primarily be in:
Utilities including facilities for the recycling, treatment, distribution and supply of water, as well as facilities for the generation, transmission, distribution and supply of electricity and gas;
Transportation/logistics including toll roads, railways, storage terminals, airports and seaports; and
Communications including broadcast transmission infrastructure, satellite systems and terrestrial wireline and wireless networks.

The Trustee-Manager generally intends to invest in infrastructure businesses where it can exercise control or exert significant influence, and will selectively pursue investments in infrastructure businesses which exhibit one or more of the characteristics set out below:
Provide long-term, regular and predictable cash flows;
Demonstrate potential to maintain or enhance returns to unitholders;
Demonstrate potential for long-term capital growth;
Operate in a regulated industry or on the basis of long-term contracts or concessions;
Provide essential services which support the communities and their industrial and commercial activities;
Have a strategic advantage due to high barriers to entry; and
Have an experienced and capable management team.
